On April 12, 1888, Dr. John Henry Wilson gathered a small group of men in the parlor of his home in Louisville, KY and formed the Loyal Order of Moose. Originally organized as a string of social clubs, the Moose has evolved into an international organization of men and women dedicated to caring for young and old, bringing communities closer together and celebrating life.
